Well Repair

In Southern Zambia wells with hand pumps are the only source of clean drinking water. These wells are often used on a continuous basis leading to disrepair and eventually stop working. Women and young children will then have to walk several miles to reach a water well that works. When that is not possible, people have no choice but to drink from water contaminated by animal waste and garbage.

OneMIllionChildren believes the most cost effective way to give a community clean water is to repair the hand pump. It cost on the average $800.00 to repair a well for one village, school or medical clinic and provide clean drinking water, helping to reduce illness due to waterborne disease.

Childrens Ministry

OneMillionChildren reaches out to children in rural villages who are without the basic necessities of life, both physically and with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We enable them to grow and develop in a secure environment, using Christian values and principles as our foundation. Our programs provide Christ-centered support, guiding the children to a responsible, productive life and discipling them through word and example.

Mission School

The love of God is impacting Southern Zambia, and rural pastors are responding with a desire to give their lives to ministering in their villages and beyond. These pastors are desperate to encounter God and preach his Gospel. In response to this need, OneMillionChildren has poured it’s heart and resources into a mission school that focuses on raising up pastors who have a heart to minister in their villages. Our students are given opportunities to serve the community and minister God’s powerful love.
